---- Report First Tester:

Performance
-Quality and performance modes are both available.

-Some frame drops experienced during chaotic moments with large amounts of enemies or environmental destruction.

-Bugs/Issues
-A couple small graphical glitches observed on the forest ground, these were rare and easily ignored.

-Be sure to collect all Cult Stashes on first playthrough. One weapon is obtained from a stash and it will already be open on the second run, preventing you from collecting all 22 stashes.

Additional Information
-Full base game is on disc.

-Night Spings DLC is on disc.

-Some Deluxe Edition content is on disc
•Saga's Nordic shotgun skin
•Alan's Parliament shotgun skin
•Saga's Windbreaker outfit
•Alan's Celebrity Suit

-Saga's Windbreaker is green on the disc but but crimson after updating the game.

-Saga's lantern charm only became available after update (this had no significant effect on gameplay).

-Alan's Classic outfit requires an update to become available for use.

-The Lake House DLC requires an update to access.

-Alan Wake Remastered for PS4 and PS5 is included as a voucher.

-Final Draft (New Game Plus) is available after completing the game once. A playthrough of Final Draft is required for the true ending.

-Full game and Night Spring DLC finished along with most optional content and collectibles.

---- Report Second Tester:

Completely playable offline with no download required. Beaten on 'Normal' difficulty with 'Performance' mode alongside default settings. Features the first DLC expansion, "Night Springs", "The Final Draft" / 'New Game+' mode & select 'Deluxe Edition' cosmetic items (ex. Saga Anderson's Nordic Shotgun / Windbreaker Attire & Alan Wake's Parliament Shotgun / Celebrity Attire) on disc. Standard ending was obtained & all three episodes for the "Night Springs" DLC were completed. All trophies for platinum trophy with the main game & 100% non-platinum trophy status for the "Night Springs" DLC expansion were achieved. Please note the aforementioned DE items plus the "New Game+ (True Ending)" found within the unlockable 'The Final Draft' mode were not tested for reference.

Unfortunately, the second expansion, "The Lake House", is not included on disc & requires a download to make it accessible through the main menu. A digital code voucher for "Alan Wake: Remastered" on PS4 / PS5 is offered inside the physical package.

-- Minor framerate drops are noticeable during heavy moments of combat or random intervals in which a lot of activity or objects are being maintained within the experience. Heavy particle effects are noticeable during later portions of Alan Wake's campaign, especially during segments that depict live-action footage amidst gameplay.

-- While moving through various locations as Saga Anderson, flickering black "textures" can be seen quite frequently despite hardly ever lasting more than a second. They often appear on the ground in small streaks, perhaps as a lighting issue, although the glitches can additionally surface in cutscenes or pop up as outlines / whole blacked-out sheets. Certain textures can also flicker in white, black & red streaks alongside the borders of the screen depending on the camera angle. As a side note, a handful of moments occurred where Saga Anderson would take full 180-degree "snaps" in her directional positioning instantaneously (ex. looking toward camera to over-the-shoulder view) while moving around areas instead of naturally turning around.

-- Enemy AI can become unresponsive on rare cases of models getting stuck on terrain that renders them immobile or the player moves between areas that operate as "out-of-bounds" for combat.

-- On random occasions, the close-up interactive prompts for items found within cult stashes or lunch boxes can appear to not be reactive. Trying to approach the item from different angles using the cursor or backing out into third-person gameplay to see the same prompt can often bypass the issue. As a side note, icons for various points-of-interest will sometimes stick to the map despite having already been explored.

-- After beating the first episode of the "Night Springs" expansion using the in-game portal (found on a TV set near the subway entrance in Alan Wake's first playable flashback to the Dark Place which, interestingly, didn't provide notice that it was the expansion content unlike the subsequent TVs), the respective trophy for beating it didn't trigger upon completion. However, replaying the episode through the main menu did register it although the final cutscenes were skipped to expediate the process as a side reference.

-- Right at the beginning of the Mulligan & Thorton boss fight, the player eliminated the dark particle hanging on the hook above the well as soon as it became available. Afterward, none of the controller inputs worked outside of movement & the ability to replace flashlight batteries. Enemy rifle shots wouldn't hit Saga Anderson either which left her invincible with no ability to fight back. Reloading the last quick-save just before the battle addressed the issue. An effort was made on the player to let the first phase kick into gear before defeating the scattered dark particles in the area to avoid a potential repeat of the problem.

-- A single crash occurred during gameplay although the situation was highly specific. After making a side trip to Watery (where the Mayor Setter trophies & 'Lighthouse Key' can be utilized) and defeating the respective boss at the police station, Ilmo Koskela was positioned back in his holding cell after returning to Bright Falls. When attempting to move inventory items between a full shoebox in the PD basement, one of the rocket flares went outside the boundaries of the storage unit and, upon moving over to the item within the menu, caused the game to close out. The glitch was replicated using the same approach. It was eventually avoided by discarding various items to make more room to maneuver all kept items as necessary & Ilmo was back in the PD hallways in subsequent attempts.
