We measure the audience of the site for non-commercial statistical purposes and anonymously via the Matomo tool. Giveaways
DoesItPlay occasionally holds giveaways on our communication channels (website, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Bluesky, Instagram, Threads, Patreon, Discord). The terms to enter these giveaways will always be explained in the respective post on these channels. Participants will need to perform certain tasks (e.g. sharing and/or commenting and/or liking a post) to be eligible for the draw, in which the winner will be picked at random among all eligible participants.
Our competitions are exclusively reserved for individuals and not for legal entities. No financial contribution is required to participate.
Each of our competitions is limited in time and the end date of the competition is always communicated in advance. DoesItPlay reserves the right to exclude people from participation if said person is disrupting the smooth running of the giveaway.
The winner is chosen at random by drawing lots from the list of participants. Therefore, all participants have the same chance of winning, unless the giveaway post specifically says otherwise (e.g., if a participant can gain additional entries to enhance their chances).
After picking a winner, we will ask that person to provide all their contact details necessary for us or the respective partner of a giveaway to ship the prize to the winner. DoesItPlay will only use and store that data for the purpose of successfully shipping the prize of the giveaway to the respective winner as well as for proof of compliance by the winning participant. We will not use, store or communicate any personal data after that. Minimum age for entering our giveaways is 18 years old. DoesItPlay reserves the right to demand proof of eligibility and, if the eligibility can not be confirmed, DoesItPlay also reserves the right to reject the initial winner their prize and perform another draw until an eligible winner has been determined.
Staff members of DoesItPlay are not eligible to enter our giveaways.
Prizes are either provided by DoesItPlay at our own expense or by sponsors (e.g., publishers, partners, etc.). The sponsors will be communicated in the respective announcement of each giveaway. DoesItPlay and associated partners cannot be held responsible for technical malfunctions or any problems that may occur during the delivery of the gift. DoesItPlay reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the giveaway, without notice, in particular in the event of a malfunction preventing the giveaway from running as explained in the rules or if the organizer's service providers are unable to ensure the continuity of the services necessary for the giveaway to run.
We ship worldwide (except for Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Afghanistan, Russia, Iran, Western Sahara, Myanmar, Belarus, Antarctica and any current areas of conflict). We will cover basic shipping costs including a tracking option. Additional duties and/or delivery service fees may apply at your country of residence or locally. These will NOT be covered by DoesItPlay. The country of origin will be indicated for each giveaway in the respective announcement.
