Version 1.018.000 included on disc. This is an early access build and is therefore missing the Hellscape biome along with some visual and balance changes.
Offline content in the disc build is extremely limited. It is possible to play the Story’s intro and tutorial, as well as a full run of Adventure mode off disc, however all Story outside of the intro, progression and most customization is disabled while offline. Saving is also disabled while offline, meaning you’ll have to replay the intro every time you reboot the game.
The PS5 disc build in particular suffers from severe crashing issues, the game crashes extremely frequently while starting adventure mode, or after completing a level. This makes it extremely difficult if not impossible to actually complete an Adventure mode run off disc.
An update released after the physical release added the ability to access the rest of the game offline. Offline saves in the patch are separate from online saves, but the game gives you the option to either unlock everything from the start, or to start from scratch.
