Tested by Community Report on Base PS5
Played around 20 hours. Solid build on disc.
The game runs pretty well with some fps drops here and there.
The game has v-sync off and no way to turn it on, so it does have some slight but noticeable tearing.
The disc build has only one map which is “The island” but considering the size of the game it has a lot of content on disc. The map is huge so there’s plenty to do and see.
Explored quite a bit of the map, no bugs or crashes.
All the options are there so you can modify your game as you see fit such as how much damage you do, how quickly you level up etc etc.
If you’ve played ARK before you know what you’ve got here.
If you haven’t, the amount of content on disc covers hundreds of hours of gameplay.
There is a patch that weighs in at 46gb and includes 2 more maps free. Scorch Earth and The Centre.
The maps have some more creatures and minor content, but the base game alone has so much content that it isn’t a necessity, especially if you are new to the game.
