Version 1.2.0 on cart. At time of testing (May 2024), there is a patch available to version 1.3.5.

Completed the campaign 100%, lit all beacons, found all candles, found all hidden coins, all bonus rooms completed, all jewel shards found, all items collected, all main and side quests completed, and all upgrades obtained.

The game has very minor bugs.

One issue we found pretty early on happened within the shop. When buying an item from the shop, the player must hit the item with the sword. Sometimes when swinging the sword, the item in question wouldn’t be obtained. We had to swing the sword a couple of times in order for the game to respond properly.

Another issue is related to certain platforms. Arzette, the main character, could be standing on a certain platforms, but it seemed that the characters feet would overlap the platform or be slightly under the platform. This doesn’t affect gameplay in any way. Just an aesthetic issue.

The main issue with the game is related to the controls. Arzette doesn’t feel very precise when jumping. It took some time to adapt to the jumping mechanic, as it didn’t feel very precise. Over time, it got better as we adapted, but it still didn’t feel quite right. Additionally, hitting up on the D-pad or analogue stick, allows the character to interact with a door or go into a new room. Sometimes, we had to hit up a couple of times for the game to respond. Again, it’s because the game doesn’t feel very precise. It may be because of a slight input delay. It’s not horrible by any means and most players will adapt fairly quickly.

When doing a specific quest, there will be an exclamation mark that appears on the top of a level when the next part of the quest is available. For example, if the player has received a mission from a character to go collect an item, an exclamation mark should appear on top of the level where that item is hidden. These don’t tell exactly where the item is, but it gives you a point of interest. While the exclamation mark did appear in most scenarios, it did not appear in certain circumstances. This can make the exploration a bit tricky.
