Astro Bot

Entire game playable from start to finish and the Platinum trophy is obtainable offline and without updates. Upon every boot the game displays a warning asking you to download the update for "critical improvements", however the game is still a mostly polished experience off disc despite the warning.

If you collected the Special Bots in Astro's Playroom, they will appear as bots to rescue in the Crash Site in the disc build once you unlock it. The total bot counter will also increase to 304 bots with them present. If you never collected the Special Bots, the total bot count will be 300.


Compared to the disc build, the day one patch does the following things:
- Adds new accessibility options for motion controls, vibration, and camera.

- Adds a PocketStation to the Crash Site that acts as a model viewer, allowing you to view any bot you collected without having to track them down in the Crash Site.

- Changes the model used for Puzzle Pieces from the one used in Astro's Playroom to a new model.

- Miscellaneous minor changes to some sounds, animations and the HUD.

- On the level Dude Raider, the locations for the first Golden Egg and the third Puzzle Piece were changed in the patch


Issues encountered with the disc build:
- Very rare and minor framerate issues on occasion

- Very rare and minor pop in on occasion

- The sound effect that plays when enemies explode doesn't seem to play on some levels. There are many other sounds happening at the same time so it can be hard to notice

- Encountered one instance where a marker remained on the map in the Crash Site after collecting the reward. This was just a visual bug and did not impact progression in any way.

- In the level "Free Big Brother", some rain can still be seen at certain angles after the level becomes sunny. If you enter the bonus room after the level becomes sunny, the music will revert to what it was before it became sunny.

- Encountered one instance where all music stopped playing. Rebooting the game fixed the issue.

- If you collect any puzzle pieces in the Crash Site while working towards the Golden Statue, you will have to leave the Site and return for the Statue progress to update. This didn't happen for any of the other structures that required puzzle pieces.
