Bugs: Several crashes. It is possible to have progress loss (7 crashes while playing and 10+ crashes on load screens.) At most, lost 15-20 mins of progress, but resorted to saving often after the first few crashes.
- had an issue where furniture in the first floor were blocking placement of furniture on the second floor. Tester temporarily removed the ones in the first floor to place the ones on the second floor. This resulted in tester being able to stack furniture on top of each other on the 2nd floor.
- had a strange bug when walking outside the building. When the playable character walked on some grass behind the building where some stairs inside the building overlapped, it made the character go up the stairs. The character then appeared on the 2nd floor inside the building.
Performance:
-game stutters sometimes, especially when guests move in&out at 9am and when autosaving.
-long load times:
~1.5min boot
~20-30secs load map/save
Other Remarks:
-Game has received patches to improve UI and these patches do not appear to be on cart. The version on cart has difficult button mapping and unintuitive UI. Some examples this:
-after you press Y then A to access inventory, it takes 3 B's to go back
-its sometimes difficult to know if you have a UI selected. Tester often wasn't aware that a UI element was selected, when trying to interact with other parts of the game.
-crafting furniture has only 2 filters and the second filter has only one item. So the player can only filter between that one item or everything else.
