Beholgar

Played the first hour of Beholgar (EUR) and found that the game has very problematic performance issues.
Revision 000, v1.06 on cart.

First, the game has many bugs that are still present in this complete-on-cart version of the game. There is no update available at the time of testing (mid-July 2023).

For example, climbing to the top of a rope/vine causes the character to horizontally glitch across the screen.

In another example, when activating a platform in the early game, it would refuse to come back up for around 15 seconds halting progression.

Additionally and most importantly, the game consistently skips frames every 2nd screen. It can be when you're in a jump or while fighting an enemy, the game will just freeze for a second and skip ahead. It looks like lag but happens consistently at equally spaced out intervals which makes it seem like a bug. It is both unpleasant to experience while playing and frustrating, because it can lead to deaths that are out of the players control.

This is just in the first hour of the gameplay of a 4 hour experience, so there may be more issues that are not noted here. All of these issues can be found in reviews from launch, and are still occurring in this all-patches-on-cart physical version.

On a positive note, if the frame skips and bugs don't bother you, the first few bosses were a lot of fun, and the platforming felt great.
