Performance is excellent.
The game is locked at 30 FPS and the target is maintained more than 95% of the time with frame drops to 20 FPS occasionally.
The option "unleash the beast" allows the game to play at 60 FPS. The targeted 60 FPS is maintained 85% of the time, with the game dropping to standard performance in the more demanding areas. Unless you want a more stable FPS, this option makes the game much more fluid and is highly recommended. It should have been turned on by default instead of being buried in the options menus.
