Version 1.23 on cart. Revision 000. At time of testing, there is a patch available to version 1.25 This test was done without any patches downloaded.

For this test, we completed the main campaign which included beating all mini-games, obtained all tokens, obtained all hidden tapes, all prizes obtained, and obtained one secret ending. DLC, “Curse of the Dreadbear” is not included on cart.

Minor issues occurred. One minor issue noticed is pop in. Pop in is noticeable when things are loading in, otherwise it’s fine.

Minor slowdown occurs from time to time. Usually during the main stage area. This did not affect gameplay in any way.

A little speck effect occurs from time to time as well, and is mostly noticed in really dark areas. Nothing that affects gameplay in anyway.

The most major thing that happened is related to software crashes. 8 to 9 software crashes occurred. While these are frequent, it seems like they mostly occured when accessing the prize counter area. This area isn’t required to play anything, this is only used to view collectible items collected. While it doesn’t crash every time the area was accessed, it did crash often. We only accessed this area often to ensure they collected all prizes available.

Controls are a bit clunky because this is a VR game coming over to a non VR console. Some options related to controls can only be done from the title screen. If any changes need to be made, the player must go to the title screen, change the settings and then go back into the game proper.
