There is a 27MB update but not required to play offline. The game let's you share your creations offline to other Switch consoles via local wireless.
We also tested the game's USB mouse support but it seems like support is somewhat spotty. Seems like only generic mice work,
so if you have any sort of gaming mouse it may not work, even if that mouse works on other devices without any drivers
