Offline mode disables progression including story progression although all the items are unlocked from the start. The tutorial is completely broken which forces you to skip it through the options menu. When actually playing a match the AI is so dumb that more often than not they will just stand there and do nothing whenever something happens which makes matches almost unwinnable due to the game relying so much on cooperation. Ghosts are not playable in the disc build. The game is also plagued with bugs which can make winning matches even more impossible as friendly AI often get stuck in each other's pathfinding, the ghost AI will get stuck inside of objects which makes it impossible to trap them, and sometimes gadgets just stop working entirely. As of Patch 1.04 it breaks offline mode even more as it still has the unbeatable offline tutorial except there is no option to skip it any more which makes it impossible to even get to the main game.
