Campaign & Versus included on disc. Lost Legends mode & Marketplace are marked as “Coming Soon”. The Lost Legends mode is also just called “Legends” in the disc build.
Lost Legends mode can only be accessed by downloading content for it from the in game marketplace, meaning on its own, the mode does not function offline even after the update.
*Versus mode is playable offline but only via Practice mode which puts you up against an AI controlled base. There are no AI controlled players.
Changes:
⁃ Subtitles are using a different font and background in the disc build.
⁃ The patch changes many tutorial messages to make some mechanics more obvious.
⁃ The timing for when some cutscenes play (Mainly early on in the game) is a little different. In one instance you have to leave your current area to get the next cutscene to play, while it plays automatically with the patch.
⁃ The patch makes some balance tweaks but nothing that significantly impacts gameplay.
Bugs:
⁃ In the first village that gets attacked, the fountain still has flowing water even after it is destroyed. Doesn’t affect gameplay at all but the voice lines associated with it won’t make sense as a result.
⁃ The issue that was present in the PS4 version where you would occasionally be teleported to a previous position due to loading is still partially present on PS5, but it happens so infrequently that it is basically a non-issue.
⁃ Due to the completely procedurally generated nature of the game world, you may encounter some weird quirks in the world generation such as bases and villages being generated extremely close to each other, or terrain being sculpted in strange ways to make room for structures. This was encountered a few times during our playthrough but it never impacted gameplay very much. These quirks can still happen even with the patch.
