Comments:

The entire Festival story mode is playable.
Trophies are attainable, except the multiplayer-only ones.
Medals and collectable cards are obtainable as well.
All unlockable content, such as cars, parts, stickers, and some characters are only unlockable through multiplayer, which was shutdown in 2018.

The Rock DLC, which adds two tracks to the game, is missing, so updating is necessary to access those tracks.
The Editor Mode, which allows you to create custom game modes, is missing, and is only available after updating.
Some vehicles handle slightly differently compared to the final patch. Most notably, the supercar.
Some vehicles in the Vehicle Selection menu are in a different order compared to the final patch.
Overall some slight differences in some of the sections of the main menu.
The loading screen is missing the Motorstorm logo.
Photo Mode in races is broken. Taking pictures or seeing the preview will make the image darker than what it looks like in-game.
Some vehicles might have a minor visual bug where headlights illuminate incorrect parts of vehicles in night races.
Performance is good. The game runs at a locked 30 fps for the most part, but tends to drop more frames than the patched version. Some stutters were observed when crossing the finish line, or when obtaining a trophy.

Despite all the multiplayer-only locked content, all the main features of the game are on disc, making this game one of the most unique experiences the PS3 has to offer. It is still however recommended to play the game patched in order to access the two extra tracks.

There's a hidden debug menu on disc, only accessible through modding the game. It includes unfinished tracks, a track selector, unused menu screens, access to all vehicles and parts, and the ability to apply character liveries to all vehicles in the game.
