Tested by DoesItPlay on PS4 Pro
Version 1.00 included on disc (in game version 1.0.213). Includes download code for the F.A.R.Tastic Four DLC which adds 4 additional characters.
Entire campaign playable offline and without updates. Supports 1-4 players locally. Unlike the first game, this game includes native 4K 60fps and Dual Mover modes on disc as opposed to being in the update.
Notes:
- The update adds an intro movie that plays before the title screen.
- The update adds little mumble sounds when characters talk during cutscenes.
- The patch adds more minor art elements across the game.
- Sometimes the hub area music takes longer to start playing than it should
- On the level “The Dronies” one of the doors you are supposed to break has no collision, meaning you can just walk through it without needing to break it first
- On the level “Lolli-POP Gallery”, all of the red lollipops on the top row besides the one on the very right have no collision and cannot be broken. Despite this it is still possible to complete the level and get the pro score by hitting the other targets.
- Encountered at least one occasion where the player would earn a star at the end of the level despite not meeting the requirement for the star
- During a few levels, a visible thin shadow that looked like a straight line could be seen across the level at certain angles. This issue was still observed even with the patch.
- Minor framerate drops observed
Content Tested:
- Main campaign played through to completion in single player
- Completed some of the side content and collectibles but didn’t attempt 100% completion
No crashes occurred during the playthrough unlike the first game. All trophies earned unlocked properly. Game is still very enjoyable despite some noticeable problems
