The PS4 port is more or less a straight port of the Switch version with some enhanced textures, a higher resolution & 60fps in all scenes instead of just in combat & minigames. The extra graphical improvements added in the next-gen ports are mostly absent on PS4. Entire game is fully playable without updates without any issues.
