Pikmin 1+2

Both games come with 1.0.0 on cart.

Pikmin 1.
100% run. All 30 items were found in 28 days out of 30, and all challenges were completed as well.

As far as performance goes, the game runs perfectly fined. No issues. No software errors during the run.

Where issues do appear, is in the behavior of the Pikmin themselves. They can have issues with path finding.
When going over a bridge over water, the Pikmin following would fall into the water instead of going over the bridge. When this was a blue Pikmin, this was an inconvenience, but nothing major as they can breathe under water. When it was red or yellow Pikmin though…. different story. When whistling for the Pikmin to get out of the water, sometimes they would get out and then immediately go back into the water.

Sometimes Pikmin would get stuck behind a wall while following us and would then just sit there until we found them again.

Played on OLED switch. Mostly played handheld, played a few rounds docked. No DRM.

Pikmin 2

Completed the game 100% as well. This includes all treasures, finding all enemy types, completing all caves, completing the main story, and getting the true ending. All challenges were completed as well, albeit not with perfect scores for the challenges.
Thankfully, the “jank” of the first isn’t as present here.
Definitely an improvement for Pikmin AI. They seem a lot smarter than Pikmin 1. There are still moments where the Pikmin acted in dumb ways, though.
Did not experience any software errors, no major glitches, no frame rate drops, etc. The game runs great.

One minor glitch did occur, where our main character made contact with an enemy and then went under the floor and where you could see him falling for a few seconds. When the character respawned and we were able to continue where we left off, so nothing major.

Did not try any of the 2 player coop modes but they are included on cart.

Gyro controls are on the cart.

No DRM.
Played the game handheld only.
