Completely playable offline with no download required. Utilized default settings with slight exception (see notes below) and disabling ranking submissions. Beaten single-player ‘Arcade Mode’ on ‘Normal’ difficulty. All stage trophies with continues obtained without issue.
— Upon booting the game, the main menu was entirely in Japanese by default. These menus had to be navigated from the top-down to activate English text: 4 (Options) > 4 (Language) > 5 Left (English).
— Rare occurrences of minor tech issues, such as a sprite stuttering animation at the edge of a treadmill and an instance where music seemingly did not loop, but everything returned to normal function within seconds of encountering these oddities.
