Stellar Blade is fully complete on disc, fully beatable, and in addition to being "uncensored", it presents almost no issues at all.
Demo save data is usable on the disc build. Playing while the game finishes installing works without issues.
Graphics modes: Prioritise Performance, Balanced, Prioritise Resolution.
This playthrough was completed in Balanced mode: in vast open areas, it'll sometimes run at close to 30 fps, but expect it to run at 50-60 fps everywhere else. Great performance overall.
The game presents almost no pop-in at all, only being slightly noticeable in some indoor sections as white flashes, while walls and other assets load in.
On one occasion, a car hood got stuck on EVE's ponytail. Some other objects/debris might flop around as EVE walks through it.
EVE got stuck in a walking animation during a scripted sequence once. She may also get sometimes stuck in normally unreachable spots after using Blink. Reloading the save will fix it.
Noticed a few lipsyncing issues with NPC's outside of cutscenes.
Music will sometimes stutter when frame drops occur.
There was one occasion where the climbable rope HUD indicators remained on screen, despite EVE not currently using the rope. Also caught a barrel floating in the air once, but it was an isolated occurence.
Two side quest NPC's had the same character model, despite being completely different characters. Possibly a minor overlook from the developers, and not important for the main story.
Some outfits have been altered with the subsequent updates, and differ from how they look in the disc build. New game plus is missing from the disc. Updating is required to access it.
In summary, this disc build is excellent, almost reminiscent of the 6th and 7th gen era of game discs in terms of quality and solidness.
