Just like the other versions this disc build is a very rough and early version of the game. The second half is absolutely dreadful to play because of poor game design. However this disc build is functioning from start to end and can be beaten without crashes and with solid performance.
-Played in performance mode at 60fps. Small drops can occur.
-Playing in quality mode isn’t recommended because the framerate drops below 30 often.
-Light sources can have the tendency to flicker (light sources that aren’t meant to that is) and cause erratic shadows or small texture glitches. Mostly harmless but can be a little distracting.
-Floor textures can be glitchy in general.
-Subtitles don’t show half of the time.
-Jittery character models during some cutscenes.
-During the Outbreak chapter a pixellated lightray from the searchlights of one of the security bots is also present in this version though less severe than the Xbox One build.
-Some sound effects are seemingly missing or do not play.
-Gun models appear normal when upgrading and adding components. Unlike the Xbox One build where attachment can float in mid air.
-In chapter 3 the game didn’t trigger the prompt to drain tank 6 because it thought an enemy that already killed was still alive. Thankfully there was a steath attack prompt next to the corpse which when executed properly registered the kill.
-A vent that you are supposed to climb into was still covered with the grate making it look like it can’t be entered. The grate couldn’t be removed. You can just climb through.
-Sometimes voices that are speaking to you over the comms sound like the person is standing next to you. The voices should have a radio filter.
-Just like in the Xbox One version Dani’s gun floats in mid air during the cutscene where she confronts Jacob in the snow where he finds Elias. Though the issue is not as severe as on Xbox One.
-The aim assist can be a little aggressive and sometimes gets in the way of playability. It is better to turn it off.
-Some voice lines kept hanging during the snowcat cutscene and the cutscene after that.
-Lighting glitched out during the cutscene where you revisit the starting ship and Dani confronts Jacob about the cargo.
-One instance of falling through the floor and getting stuck.
-The Europa cutscene in the last chapter is incomplete in terms of sound. There’s no music or ambient noise, only voices.
-The final cutscenes have glitchy lighting.
